Tuyển Dụng - Freelance Retail Marketing
JOB DESCRIPTION
Freelance Retail Marketing
We are hiring "The Retail Marketing"who owns the full customer journey inside and around our stores. This is a revenue-accountable role: you are directly responsible for driving in-store traffic, converting footfall into sales, and delivering monthly store revenue.
You will lead store activation, event programming, visual merchandising (VM), and customer experience, acting as the bridge between brand strategy and physical retail execution. You will be measured on revenue, not activity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OWNERSHIP
1 Store Revenue Ownership
- Own and be accountable for the in-store revenue target
- Build and execute a monthly revenue action plan (traffic x conversion x basket size)
- Track weekly KPIs: footfall, conversion rate, ATV (average transaction value), UPT
- Report performance to management with corrective action plans when off-track
2 Store Activation
- Design and execute seasonal activation campaigns
- Develop always-on activation mechanics: daily traffic hooks, weekly store moments
- Coordinate activation assets: POS materials, signage, window displays, props
- Partner with landlord/mall marketing teams for co-activation opportunities
- Manage activation calendar with at least 2 activation moments per month
3 In-Store Events
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute in-store events (launches, workshops, pop-ups, collaborations)
- Manage event budget, vendor coordination, logistics, and post-event evaluation
- Drive event-driven revenue: each event must have a clear sales uplift target
- Build a community event calendar to drive repeat visits and brand loyalty
4 Traffic Generation
- Develop offline and online traffic-driving tactics (Tiktok content, social geo-targeting, Google My Business, Zalo OA, influencer store visits)
- Analyze traffic patterns (by hour, day, season) and optimize staff scheduling and activation timing
- Run referral and bring-a-friend programs to amplify organic traffic
5 Visual Merchandising (VM)
- Set and maintain VM standards aligned with brand guidelines across all zones: window, entrance, hero wall, gondola, fitting room, till point
- Execute VM changes per activation calendar (minimum weekly refresh of hero displays)
- Apply sell-through VM logic: merchandise by turnover speed, margin, and newness
- Train store staff on VM maintenance standards and daily VM checklists
- Conduct weekly VM audits and produce photographic reports
6 Customer Experience (CX)
- Map the end-to-end in-store customer journey and identify friction points
- Implement CX improvements: greeting standards, fitting room experience, queue management, post-purchase touchpoint
- Build and manage a customer database / loyalty mechanic (stamps, points, VIP tier)
- Run NPS or CSAT surveys monthly; present findings with action items
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- 3–5 years in retail marketing, store operations, or brand activation — fashion/lifestyle/FMCG preferred
- Proven track record of driving measurable revenue or traffic growth in a physical retail environment
- Hands-on VM experience: able to set, style, and photograph a display to brand standard
- Strong project management: can run 3–5 simultaneous activations/events without dropping the ball
- Data-literate: comfortable reading sales reports, traffic data, conversion funnels
- Based in or able to travel to store location daily
- Knowledge of Tiktok content, Zalo OA, Facebook Ads, or Google My Business for local traffic driving
Nice-to-Have
- Experience at a structured retail brand: Uniqlo, Muji, H&M, Zara, Guardian, or similar
- Familiarity with mall marketing partnerships and co-op activation budgets
Mindset
- Revenue-first: always links creative ideas to a sales outcome
- Ownership mentality: treats the store like their own business
- Executes fast, iterates based on data, does not wait for perfection
- Comfortable on the shop floor, not just behind a desk
